Disney Cruise Lines to Audition for Character Performers.

This posting is for over 18’s only, but we thought some of our  readers might be interested for now or later, as this won’t be the last auditions Disney Cruise Line hold!

On Thursday, December 12th Disney are holding auditions for character performers for entertainment productions on its luxury cruise liners  in Ahwatukee (See contact details at end of post).

“Nine-month contracts begin January 2014 and include room and board, contract-completion bonus, additional benefits package and no cruise-staff duty.

Character performers appear as fully costumed Disney characters in mainstage musical-theater productions as well as in meet-and-greets on board the ships. Some performers step out into ensemble-dancer roles.

Performers must be at least 18, provide a head-shot photo and resume and be prepared to learn a movement and animation exercise.

Females are needed who are 4 feet 8 inches to 5 feet, 5-2 to 5-3, and 5-5 to 5-7.

Males are needed who are 5 feet 2 inches to 5-3, 5-5 to 5-7 with a youthful look, and 5-11 to 6-3, for whom acting experience is a plus.

Candidates will be measured at the audition.”
